To ensure our insulators are up to date we utilize the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) program to continually evolve our craftsmen with various materials and applications. hth also houses an apprentice-training program, which is recognized and approved by the U.S. Department of Labor. We are active members of Midwest Insulation Contractors Association (MICA) and the National Insulation Association (NIA) keeping us up to date on the latest technological breakthroughs in the industry. hth companies warehouses over 40,000 sq./ft of assorted insulation materials at multiple locations throughout the Midwest. Our inventory allows us to provide quick response to customers and the ability to manage shortages in material supplies during demand peaks.

Energy Appraisals:

hth companies has certified energy appraisers on staff to assist customers with their energy needs. Mechanical systems in commercial and industrial settings consume large amounts of energy to heat and cool water and air. Energy loss prevention provided through the insulation of mechanical systems greatly reduces energy loss. hth companies understands the importance of energy loss prevention and the cost associated with it. Our energy appraisers will work hand-in-hand with you to accomplish your cost saving objectives.

Heat Trace Cable Installation:

Electrical and steam trace is a system used to maintain or raise the temperature of pipes and vessels. Trace heating may be used to protect pipes from freezing, to maintain a constant flow temperature in hot water systems, or to maintain process temperatures for piping that must transport substances that solidify at ambient temperatures. hthcompanies has extensive experience working with thermal insulation to ensure trace heat systems are operating as designed.

Removable insulation blankets:

hth companies custom fabrication shop can manufacture custom-fit, removable, reusable insulation blankets. hth also deploys a mobile fabrication trailer allowing for onsite service for larger custom insulation jobs.
